After graduating from Ohio University in June, Nick Stanich, Luke Black, and Sam Pepple set out for a two month excursion bisecting the United States exclusively on bicycles. Departing from Athens, Ohio on June 16th they had three primary objectives in mind: view the vast expanse of the U.S. from a temporal scale unknown to many, challenge individual fitness capacities, and enrich friendships in preface of departure across future time and space.

That link that you sent is loky. It appears as though they are at the
Missouri River. At least as of July 3 anyway. That's incredible. I
really do understand their motivations man. I mean taking a vehicle is
alright, but to take a bike is really the ultimate exposure to the
environment. Or shall I say environments. Save hiking perhaps. I mean
think of how many local topographical features and plant species
they'll encounter along the way. And of course weather phenomenon. How
about some of those old barns they'll without a doubt see along the
way. You know, those old wooden framed nicies that have withstood
countless blizzards and hailstorms over the years across the Midwest
and Great Plains. I can't help but think back to that road just East
of Elmore that nearly parallels the Portage River. That would be a
nice bike ride. Northwest Ohio did have just a bit of quality at
times.

Hi Guys, Just wanted to know how you are doing crossing Kansas. It was a pleasure spending time with you here in Fairview. The Debs will be thinking of you all the way to the Pacific. Be safe and watch out for Mountain Lions...
850 miles and still going strong! Awesome. I think I'd be out of enthusiasim.
I wonder where these guys are at as of this writing? Looking through their posts is similar to reading a National Geographic artle. That's great.
